Back to TopAim:

The AIM of the Deming Electronic Network is to

"Learn, apply, and extend the teachings of Dr. W. Edwards Deming and to help others do the same."

Our thanks to Mike Tveite for the use of his aim.

Back to TopAbout the DEN:

The DEN is a volunteer-based, non-commercial electronic communications resource available internationally to individuals and organizations interested in the past, present, and future of Dr. W. Edwards Deming's System of Profound Knowledge and related philosophies.

The DEN came out of a conversation between Myron Tribus, Tom Glenn, Del Kimbler, John Hunter, and Jim Clauson at the first Deming Institute Conference in early 1994. We envisioned using the Internet to share, network, and support activities of Deming "followers" world wide.

The DEN originated as a discussion list supported by Tom Glenn on his home system, along with his original TQM BBS and the Community Quality Electronic Network. In early 1995, the file area and the discussion list became too much for Tom's system, and Del Kimbler volunteered hardware, software, and technical support at the CQI server at the Department of Industrial Engineering at Clemson University in Clemson, SC.

Form for Email to den.list

This form will allow you to post messages to the den.list email discussion list maintained at deming.ces.clemson.edu. Since this list is moderated, your post will go to the moderator, rather than directly to the list.

The DEN is a list specifically focused on the philosophy of Dr. W. Edwards Deming. Only such posts will be forwarded to the list.

If you are a student, please be very specific in your request. If you have already done a web search and cannot find something, perhaps we can help. Requests such as "Tell me about the 14 Points" will not receive responses from subscribers other than: "Check the library."

Enter your correct home email address in the "From:" box and a subject meaningful to other readers in the "Subject:" box. You can enter the text of the message in the space below; be sure to include your signature, preferred email address, or other information so people can reply to you. Please note that the message area does not word-wrap at the end of a line; you will have to put in returns to keep within the 60 columns.

From: (your email address)

SUBJECT: (please be descriptive)

Message:

You may when done, or if you want to start over.
